Hi,
Is there a way to export all of my playlists from Apple Music [formally iTunes] in one go but have the export as individual .m3u files so that I can put them on my USB stick for the car to recognise them?
At present I only seem to be able to do one at a time, or I can export the whole library but that's just one .xml file
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for this. Is there a way to edit the text before export. Usually on export the text has script like this:-kryten2 said:Info : //dougscripts.com/itunes/scripts/scripts03.php.

/Users/"username"/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Music/2Pac/Greatest Hits Disc 1/01 Keep Ya Head Up.m4a
But for my car to recognise it it needs to be
/2Pac/Greatest Hits Disc 1/01 Keep Ya Head Up.m4a
I use text editor to find and replace [all] the text with nothing, but I have to do with each playlist which again is a bit of a pain. I used to use playlist editor from the Mac app store where I could export all at once, and edit the text for all before export which saved loads of time but it just crashes these days, I'm guessing it's not compatible with Catalina.

You can do almost anything with a script. The attached example script might be a starter.

Thanks, I'll give it a go but will look into scripts first as I'm not familiar with itkryten2 said:You can do almost anything with a script. The attached example script might be a starter.
