Since 1999, we have placed more than 800 international students in our partner universities in Ireland and the UK. DIFC has been appointed by the university consortium NCUK as their exclusive delivery centre in Ireland for NCUK foundation courses.
Our complete package includes English courses, assistance with study visas, secure on-campus accommodation - and a guaranteed place at an Irish or UK university, upon successful completion of the NCUK foundation course.
During our foundation courses, students participate in the NCUK/DIFC university placement system. Designed to make university entrance easy for international students, it provides one-to-one counselling and advice, along with a coordinated application procedure. Our barista training courses include: Introduction to Barista Skills, Certificate in Barista Skills [accredited by the London Chamber of Commerce & Industry - LCCI] as well as HACCP & Food Safety. These are delivered to the highest professional standards by experienced and dedicated tutors. We are constantly adding to our course portfolio, with many more barista courses planned for later in the year.
Our barista courses are conducted in a fully-operational café, which ensures students are exposed to a broad range of coffee-related equipment and products, something we see as vital for barista training. The café is conveniently located in Ranelagh in Dublin 2.

We offer highly experiential courses with high results because of their practice content. Between modules our students are asked to apply newly learned behaviours and record their experience with this. We work in association with other Colleges who are interested in using this method for their particular educational objectives.
