hey guys
I am using Remote Desktop Connection Manager for the first time and I cant for the life of me manage to make the RDC sessions fit into my screen properly
I have to always scroll across
and up and down which is very annoying
Have played around with the resolutions in the client options but no luck
I have the following option checked. The size will adjust to whatever monitor it is on when you connect. If you move it to another monitor or adjust the screen size you can just reconnect and it will correct itself.

Isn't there a custom option that you can play with to get it right?
I believe that BEFORE you connect, you can pick the resolution in the connection utility.
Right click and go to Properties > Remote Desktop Settings to change the settings for a specific connection. If you want to change everything then you can edit or create a new settings profile by going to Tools > Options > General > Default Group Settings [and Remote Desktop Settings specifically to change the display size].
change the remote screen resolution after changing the RDM window size is by clicking on the "Reconnect" button
How commentary, i like much more Royal TS for Remote control manager, but it's app is pay.
I love Royal TS software.

Before you remote in do Options > Display. It should be a slider bar.
mRemoteNG is a better choice imo. It's freeware without the crap too.

Correct.. the settings are in the RDP window [look for the advanced/more options button], set the resolution to full screen, and tell it to adjust to the client desktop.. should work.
Has anyone figured out how to make either the thumbnails or the sessions themselves take up equal parts of the screen?
For example, lets say I have 8 machines in my RDCMon. How can I get it so that either each of the 8 thumbnails takes up 1/8trh of the screen at the same time, or, make each session take up 1/8th of the screen at the same time?
Right click on the top group and click properties, go to "display settings" enable check box for "Scale docked..." and "Scale undocked..." Make sure the subgroups have "inherit from parent" checked.
mRemoteNG has terrible support for resolutions
Worked!! Edit->Properties->Remote Desktop Setting and check ->Same as Client area. Reopen the RDC and works!! Thanks to J500.
Thank You!

Thank you marimuruganveerabathiran!!
Check both scale docked / undocked window to fit the window.
On a very similar topic I could not get my remote screen to stretch to a scale I could see easily. My screens are high dpi and the image was always too small. It would only scale smaller than native. Resolved it by changing the properties of the application! Find the shortcut in the start menu folder, [like C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu], right-click it, and choose Properties. Go to Compatibility tab and under "Override high DPI scaling behavior" change "Application" to "System." Then it stretches it to the system's scaling size. Mine is set to 150%.
