I needed a sun BLOCK and all that is normally available is sunscreen. I have sensitive skin and eyes so a lot of products bother me but this one causes no problems. It goes on well without much effort - not like the creams that stay visible after application. The price is so reasonable that I will be ordering more. My Arizona sister recommended this to me and I also recommend it to you.
Minimalist Sunscreen Review | SPF 50 PA ++++ – This broad spectrum SPF 50 with PA++++ rating, has a very light texture that spreads easily & disappears leaving behind a natural, moisturised, non-shiny look.

A light weight, moisturiser-meets-sunscreen. It is a Photostable & Acne safe sunscreen. Also, it does not leave any white cast on application.
Loaded with Vitamins A, B, E & F that help repair skin and minimise damage caused by UV exposure. Boosted with Vitamin A, B3, B5, E and F that not only repairs skin after sun exposure, but also soothes, nourishes and hydrates skin.
This sunscreen is formulated with 4 very effective UV-filters, namely, Uvinul T 150, Avobenzone, Octocrylene and Titanium Dioxide to provide protection from UVA & UVB.

MY EXPERIENCE
Skin Type – Normal Sensitive
I decided to buy the Be minimalist sunscreen because it is free from fragrance, octinoxate[Octyl methoxycinnamate or [OMC]] and Benzophenone-3[Oxybenzone].👍 That is a big plus when it comes to sensitive skin.
The sunscreen comes in a pump bottle packaging which may lead to product wastage, assuming i cant break open the bottle decently.😁
Although the consistency of the sunscreen is creamy, it spreads quite easily. But it does take a minute or two to blend into the skin completely.
In summer season, It settles to a non sticky dewy finish on my normal skin.
As i mentioned earlier, there is absolutely no white cast so it is most certainly suitable for every skin tone.👍
When the sunscreen touches the areas that are peeling it does sting/burn a little but it went away quickly. I did not notice any redness or irritation post application.
NEGATIVE POINTS
The Be minimalist sunscreen is not water/sweat resistant so,
- It is best suited for indoor use, air conditioned environment or the winter season.
BREAKOUTS?
The very first time i used this sunscreen, i ended up with 2 tiny pimples near my lips and forehead. I changed my morning skincare routine by skipping the moisturiser and gave the minimalist sunscreen another chance.
My morning skincare regimen includes a toner, vitamin C serum and sunscreen. Guess what? I did not notice any breakouts or irritation this time around.
REAPPLICATION?
Reapplication is not at all an issue on normal healthy skin. It works really well i would say BUT, if your skin barrier is compromised, then it would be better to go for a sunscreen stick.
If you are using Retinol/Chemical peels[AHA/BHA], you may end up with the same experience as mine. The product feels heavy on reapplication and the peeling areas feel tight/stretchy, even more so when I sweat. I checked in the mirror but, there wasn’t any pilling and also, it did not accentuate the peeling areas either. Once my skin heals, it may work differently.
UPDATE ON 20/03/2022
My skin has gotten used to chemical exfoliation now and it does not feel as sensitive as before. So, the sunscreen feels different, certainly in a good way and, is really comfortable on my skin these days. There isn’t any burning sensation or stretchiness that i mentioned earlier. Overall my skin seems happy and calm.
UPDATE ON 20/10/2022
The packaging has been changed from pump bottle to tube which is good. I did use this sunscreen with Physiogel moisturiser and it did not break me out. But in terms of texture, the sunscreen felt slightly thicker and creamier than before and 2 finger full takes forever to get absorbed.
DOES IT PILL?
Most negative reviews i read did say that the sunscreen pills BUT, i did not notice any pilling/ball up at all.🤔I think humidity and the moisturiser you are using underneath may have something to do with this. I will post my winter update and see how that goes.
