To me this is what I love most about Emilia. That kind of purity is hard to come by in a real, authentic way.
3. Saber [Fate Stay Night]
Sabers mostpowerfultrait is herrespect for othersand pride in herself.
Shes the type of person whos disciplined and does her absolute best to stay true to her promises.
Not to mention she stands firm and never waivers in her personal beliefs.
And lets not forget thatshes an independent thinker.Who has no interest in blindly following others or sticking to whats conventional.
4. Balsa Yonsa [Guardian Of The Sacred Spirit]
Similar to Saber, Balsa has a strong set of personal values, ambitions and self-discipline to go with it.
It doesnt matter what it takes to achieve her goals, or what challenges she has to face when it comes todoing what she feels is right.
Balsa will stand tall and smash through any challenge with her head held high. Without clinging to regret or self-doubts.

Sun Seto lives by a set of ideals shellnever break.No matter the circumstances.

6. Megumi Tadokoro [Food Wars]
Megumi Tadokoro comes off as shy, nervous and sometimes too nice. But thatsexactlywhats attractive about her personality.
Being nice isnt a flaw, its a strength. And she fuses her generosity into her cooking. Making the taste soothing and calming for anyone who tries it.

Umikos the type of person who doesnt take no BS. Leadership is one of her strongest characteristics.
Even though her tough love personality can come off as aggressive, shes a good person at heart. But when its time to get to work, shes results driven.

8. Mirajane Strauss [Fairy Tail]
Kind, generous, sweet, and a good communicator. Whatsnotto love about Mirajane?

I dont get the hate with Lucy Heartfilia. That aside, shesthe perfectwaifu.
Lucyis Loyal, trusting, kind and will open her heart to anyone who deserves it.
Instead of being tied to the past, she has the inner-strength to move forward and go after what she wants.
12. Uryuu Minene [Future Diary]
Uryuu Minene is an OG. Plain and simple.
Shes the savage version ofErzaScarlet, mostly because of hermessed uppast and upbringing as a child.
And yet underneath all that baggage, is a woman who will lay down her life, support, and stay true to whoever is worthy of gaining her trust.

Ginshuu doesnt get much screen time in season 1 of thisanime. But from what you see shes a fighter, and too charming to ignore from this list.

If you were waiting to see Rem here she is.
Rem is one of the mostdevotedanime girls to have ever been created. And its not like shes pretending to be this way. Its completely genuine and authentic.
So it would bewrongnot to mention Rem as a topwaifu.
15.Rukia Kuchiki [Bleach]
Rukia is one of the mostunderratedanime girls by 2018 standards.
Its no wonder why people wantedIchigoand Rukia to become BF & GFso badly.
Rukias inner-drive, perseverance, strength, and personality is stacked full of depth. Putting most femaleanimecharacters to shame [especially over the last couple of years].
16. Eru Chitanda [Hyouka]
Eru Chitandas curiosity isone of her most interesting traits.
Think about it. Without curiosity, you lose your ability to learn, discover and explore things in life.
Not to mention try new things out and make personal progress.
This is why I love Eru Chitanda so much as a character. Shes a personal favorite.

17.Ochako Uraraka [My Hero Academia]
Ochako has one simple goal:to make a lot ofmoneyand take care of her family.
How can a person hate on a simple, straightforward goal like that?
In life, people believe makingmoremoneyis a bad thing, or its evil. Or whatever negative bullshit people love to spout.
Butmoneyis a tool for good, IF youre a good person.Ochako Urarakais a good example of this.
Its just one thing about her that makes her an interesting female character.
18.Alice Nakiri [Food Wars]
Im the type of person whos ambitious, driven, and unconventional. Always striving to do and be better.
Alice Nakiriis similar in this way. But whats most surprising isshes not arrogantat all.
It takes a heart of gold to have a high level of confidence, without letting it get to her head.
19.Teletha Testarossa [Full Metal Panic]
Teletha is a BOSS. Literally. Shes the commander in the military series: Full Metal Panic.
On the outside shes seen as this beautiful, sweet and attractive girl. But she has a serious, hard-working and brutally honest side to her that I like.
It also helps that shes self-aware and is able to think through tough situations logically.
All this makes her an interesting character worth mentioning.
20.Ursula Callistis [Little Witch Academia]
Ursula Callistis knows how to lead others when the time is right. And stand up for what she cares about, who she cares about, and what she believes in.
Her relationship with the MC: Atsuko Kagari is one worth seeing. Its one of the most impressive highlights of theanime.
21.Sheele [Akame Ga Kill]
Sheele is the type of character who if they had a mentor, their life would have changed for the better.
That much is clear from Sheeles past life and childhood.
That aside, shes one of the kindest, most innocent characters with pure intentions. And thats regardless of the path shes chosen [starting a revolution].
22.Holo The Wise Wolf [Spice And Wolf]
Holo is a fun character youd probably never get bored with being around.
And like her name implies,shes wise and intelligent.A trait thats likable in a woman no matter how you look at it.
23.Mikoto Misaka [A Certain Scientific Railgun]
Mikoto Misakas ambition, drive and determination is what I love about her most.
Its hard to find someone in life whostruly driventhe way a character like Mikoto Misaka is.
And everything shes accomplished never happened by pure luck. Itsbecauseshe put in the work.
Whats even more magnetic about Mikoto is shes not arrogant or full of herself. She remains grounded,down to earth, and doesnt care too much about materialism.
24.Karen Tendou [Gamers]
Karen Tendou is just gorgeous. Theres no 2 ways about it.
Its clear she cares about what other people think of her gaming secrets, but that just makes her all the more real and relatable.
Its enough to give you a good laugh.
Insecurities are what help you connect toanimecharacters at the end of the day.
25.Minori Kushieda [Toradora]
Minori Kushieda is the most funanimegirl on this list.
She breaks convention, lives by her own rules and is a little crazy bynormalstandards.
And thats why she deserves to be on this list. That optimism and positive attitude of hers is infectious.
26.Asuna Yuuki [Sword Art Online]
Say what you want aboutSword Art Online, butAsuna Yuukiis a popular waifu for good reason.
Shes delicate, but firm. Committed yet loyal. And supportive butfarfrom a pushover.
And her best trait? How modesty, regardless of her upbringing and privileges.
27.ErzaScarlet [Fairy Tail]
And then we have Erza Scarlet. The proud knight whos crawled from hell and made it to the other side inone piece.
On the outside shes like the great wall of China. Tough,powerful, strong and well-guarded.
On the inside she has insecurities that stem from her horrible past, yet shes able to accept it and move forward with her head held high.
And it doesnt hurt that shes beautiful with red hair no less.
28. Raphtalia [The Rising Of The Shield Hero]
Raphtalia is a gentle character at heart. Born into the wrong circumstances for no fault of her own [victim of prejudice].
And that fact proves itself after Naofumi restores hope in Raphtalias heart after saving her from slavery.
Shes loyal for life to anyone who deserves it. And thats why sheeasilymakes this list ofanimewaifus.
29. Kasumigaoka Utaha [How To Raise A Boring Girlfriend]
Kasumigaoka is a novel writer who makes a living off her work [best selling books]. Shes a big fan ofManga, art, and everything related to it.
Even though she can appear cold, uncaring and brutally honest, behind that is a soft heart thats loyal to death, willing to fight for anyone whos being disrespected.
And lets not forget how hard working and focused she is. The kind of girl who has a level head on her shoulders!
30. Kyoka Jiro [My Hero Academia]
Kyoka Jiro is an underratedwaifufromMy Hero Academia[Boku No Hero Academia].
Cool, laid back, knows how to dress and not loud or extroverted. Id say shes an ambivert.
Out of all the quirks in MHA, her earphone jack is one of the strangest but useful. But I love her personality.
31. Urd [Ah My Goddess]
Urd is a goddess from head to toe [no pun intended]. And easily one of the most beautifulanimegirls.
Not surprising when you realize whatanimeshes from. Ananimefilled with goddesses in every sense of the word.
Shes playful, loves to tease, protective and doesnt hesitate to speak her mind. A favorite from the Ah My Goddess series.
32. Maki Oze [Fire Force]
Maki Oze is one of the neweranimewaifus in the industry [since 2019 that is].
A girl who knows how to fight because shes military trained, exercises, works out, and is still as feminine as a flower.
Cute things bring her to her knees but disrespect wont be tolerated. Shell snap at the drop of a hat a any insults and has a lot of self respect.
An all around lovablewaifu.
33. Kyoko Mogami [Skip Beat]
Kyoko Mogami from Skip Beat is a gentle girl with a dark-ish side to her personality. Mostly because of her upbringing and how shes been treated by the people around her.
Even her parents.
This shapes Mogami into a determined, ambitious and hard working woman who wont take no for an answer.
She does it all while maintaining standards and refusing to sink low.
They just dont writeanimegirls like Kyoko Mogami these days.
34. Belldandy [Ah My Goddess]
Belldandy, another goddess in a literal sense is a beautifulanimecharacter. And one of the older types ofanimewomen, unlike your average teenager you see in school shows.
Gentle at heart, too kind, empathetic and loving to everyone. She even has mercy for her enemies and its hard to hate Belldandy because of how pure and honest she is.
Fewanimegirls can compare.
35. Hime Onizuka [Sket Dance]
Hime Onizukais one of the main trio characters in Sket Dance. Like all good characters, she has a past.
That past makes her the person she is today. A woman whos straightforward, honest, and speaks the truth out of love rather than hate.
Shes usually the center of the comedy in some way as well, without any fan service.which so many otheranimefall victim to.
Rough around the edges but beautiful on the inside.
36. Chizuru Mizuhara [Rent A Girlfriend]
Chizuru Mizuharais a waifu like no other. And plays a big role in the Rent A Girlfriend series.
In fact theanimewouldnt have half as classy when it counts if not for her professionalism as a rental girlfriend for hire.
She doesnt mix business with pleasure, even when pleasure is laying right there on the table.
The type of person who favors doing the right thing over doing what feels good in the moment.
Chizuru has a class of her own other female characters dont compare to.
37. Hinata Hyuga [Naruto]
Hinata Hyuga has always been waifu material. Especially when you take into consideration her entire journey.
From the beginning shes been loyal, genuine, sincere, and has never tried to manipulate or be petty with anyone. Unlike Sakura.
She starts out relatively weak and has depth to her story and character. So much that she feels like amaincharacter.
With a gentle persona and tons of empathy and understanding for others, its hard to dislike a woman like Hinata.
Her moral code is as high as it gets.

38. Ram [Re:Zero]
Ramis an underrated character in Re:Zero. A side character unlike the others.
When she makes her appearance its always entertaining and a good laugh. But more than that we see her personality as clear as day.
She only speaks the truth and doesnt mince her words for no one. Theres a charm to that despite what comes with it.
And out of the twin sisters, Ram is the more confident, self assured character. And never settles for less in anything she does.

39. Yoruichi Shihouin [Bleach]
Yoruichi Shihouinis a classic character at this point. But a relevant one and it shouldnt surprise.
Shes one of the few black femaleanimecharacters, and one that plays a vital role in the Bleach series.
Strong, capable, committed and beautiful.
Deserves more recognition when it comes to this conversation.
