5.0 out of 5 stars First calendar I have ever loved!
Reviewed in the United States on December 31, 2019

I have had many calendars. One every year, in fact. I’m really picky about that once-a-year decision. I’ve never really had a complaint about a calendar, but I’ve never loved one either. A calendar just “is”. It’s a functional piece of daily life that in and of itself is basically ignorable. But I LOVE this calendar! I love the blank [unlined] squares [alot of calendars of this style seem to have lined days]. I love the large writing spaces. The paper is functionally thick enough and not shiney [so anything can be used to write on it. I love love LOVE the gradated color scheme! Now I can safely say I have loved a calendar. It’s cheerful colors make me happy every time I catch sight of it! Buy one, you’ll be happy too!

I was looking for a calendar that I can use to teach my three year old the days of the week and month etc.
I that is not particularly made for kids, but easy to look at. This one is really good because of the colors, which helps my kid to understand the days of the week.
I am putting stickers for holidays and birthdays, and hopefully I will not need to explain 5 times a day how long it is until her birthday!

UPDATE: the only calendar I have ever bought again. The colors were cheerful and not too distracting or busy. The squares were large enough to write multiple items. Using a magnetic hook worked well on fridge.

I have a big family, and everyone has many events to keep track. I want the kids to see their events even though I primarily store them in my phone calendar. Typically I buy an oversized or desk pad calendar and add magnets to the back and hang it on our kitchen/garage door. It’s large blocks show everyone what happens when. The drawback to this method is that I have to pull off the page as each month goes by, which means we don’t have the previous months to reference.

This spiral calendar with a hanging hook solves the problem.

This calendar is smaller than the desk pad calendars we use, but large enough so that I can include 4 events easily per day, written in normal hand writing.

Pencil, pen, gel pen, and felt tip pen work on the calendar. I used felt tip pen for some January’s events and there was no bleed through.

The colors of the Calendar vary each month and are really attractive. Not all are pink/purple/middle school girl colors, which is nice bc my three sons already checked out which color their birthdate is and I’m glad they weren’t all pastel pink. None of the colors are too dark to see words written in black/navy. Another calendar I almost bought had dates that needed a metallic ink pen to use.

I’m pleased with this calendar, and I think it’s my favorite functional calendar I’ve ever bought. It would work really well as a personal desk calendar in an office or school desk setting.

The company sent me a follow up email after I ordered which seemed kind.

When I opened up the calendar, which wasn’t damaged in shipping, there was a little flyer card that said there was a 3 mo warranty for the product and provided a customer service email. That surprises me because I haven’t heard of an Calendar with a warranty.

5.0 out of 5 stars Attractive, basic block calendar. I love it! With update.

When we made the move to WFH during the pandemic I realized I had misplaced my office calendar. I really needed something I could reference while typing, without having to stop and click elsewhere on my screen. I also wanted something that was aesthetically pleasing - because we all need a little happiness amidst the pandemic, eh?
I was looking for something specifically in an 8x11" size or close to it, so that I could see it clearly but not take up too much space. This one is just slightly larger, but also a good use of space. There is a fair amount of white space across the top behind the month name but that's also where the spiral binding is so it can lay flat. I love the rich colors, and the ombre effect that moves from side-to-side and top-to-bottom so you have visual breaks between days and weeks. The calendar came with a metal hanger embedded within the spiral coil, and I have mine hanging on a push pin.
The squares are big enough for some things to be written on them, but not much [depending on your handwriting]. I only put vacations and a few rare personal reminders on mine, so if you're looking for something to write on make sure you note the size in the description.
The first one I purchased in April of 2020, but I bought a second in December for 2021. I really like this calendar.

My feedback comes from the fact that I'm a designer, so I hyperanalyze everything! BUT despite the cons, I'm glad I got this.

Pros:
- Size is definitely a fair one for visibility and I appreciate the swatches are square and spaced out well.
- Each month has a completely different color swatch style and layout. It's not a subtle change; you can distinctly see a difference which is appreciated.

Cons:
- The typefaces do not match. When looking at the month + day type vs the smaller calendar type, they're different. This irks me. [See #5 for the difference]
- Lower quality in regards to printing of the colors. The last image shows that it's not "perfectly" solid, but I'd attribute this critique due to the fact that I'm a designer and am very perceptive of this printing quality
- I don't use the "notes" section as it's pretty small, so it's not really necessary. I'd get rid of it so you can adjust the size of the overall calendar.
- They put color numbers [see image #4] but they don't actually give you the color swatch code. If they used HEX codes or CMYK colors, that would've brought me great joy. Instead I do not know what this annotation is.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good value, needs refining/edits but still worth it if cost is low

I first bought this calendar a few years ago. Ever since, every year I replace it with a new one for the new year. I write bills or notes on the back of each month plus find the end space very handy for making a bill check list. You can hang this up easily, but I keep mine with my bills. It's sturdy enough that it will stand up on its own if it's leaning on something. It doesn't buckle over. The pages aren't extremely thick, but the are sturdy enough.
Love this calendar and will continue to reorder it yearly!!
