'It's of no consequence' có consequence là tầm quan trọng, tính trọng đại; vì thế cụm từ này nghĩa là cái đó không quan trọng, không thành vấn đề.

Isnt it wonderful when your team wins? It doesnt matter how bad your day up until then has been: it doesnt matter that you disagreed with a colleague at work; its of no consequence that you got shouted at in a traffic jam; and you dont mind that you were scolded for forgetting to pick up the milk and eggs on your way home. Your team has WON! And everything is all right. Thats the magic of sport, and having YOUR team.
