Design Technology Specialist at Parallax Team 7mo #Revit 2023 is out now, and along with that is a new version of #DynamoBIM! Check out the video below for an overview of what Dynamo 2.13 looks like, feels
like, and runs like now. //lnkd.in/g6Eqz8VY Gave it a quick skim watch but look forward to diving into this tonight, great summary - some features I wasn't aware of too, very handy! Think R23 might still be T minus 8.5 hours but could just be my desktop app... Will dynamo be updated to 2.13 for revit 20,21,22? Automatically? To view or add a comment,

Issue:
After running Dynamo for Revit, only a blank screen appears on the start window preview and the Dynamo dialog box is not visible.
Also, the Dynamo icon in the Revit ribbon is dimmed and indicates that the program has started.
Causes:
When starting the app, the blank screen is due to the Dynamo window appearing off-screen [for example, after changing display resolution, presenting/connecting another display]. The graphics card on the affected workstation must then recalculate the content display in the Dynamo window, but this recalculation must be started manually.
Solution:
To solve this issue, try one of the following options:
- Turn off the monitor and turn it back on to reset the graphics.
- Restart Revit and press the Dynamo icon, or select the Dynamo window preview with a white background if it is already open and use the following key combination:
- Press together: alt + space + m.
- Press any arrow key on the keyboard.
- Then move the cursor to the main screen.
- Right-click on the Revit Dynamo window in the Windows Taskbar and toggle the Minimize/Maximize button of the Dynamo Window.

DYNAMO SANDBOX
Dynamo Sandbox is an open source environment for visual programming. Sandbox is a free download of our core technology that isn't integrated into any other product, has limited functionality and is primarily for providing feedback on new features, development, and testing.
- Test the most up-to-date Dynamo features
- Runs standalone from other Autodesk applications
- Can download packages but not upload packages
- Work faster in a multi-threaded environment
- Requires other Autodesk products to access geometry

ALIAS
The Dynamo Extension allows users to leverage the power of computational design within the Alias workspace. Apply scripts directly to Alias geometry to generate quick concept variations and save time by reducing repetitive modelling.
- Send and bake geometry between Alias and Dynamo using Live connection
- Reopen and continue editing Alias files saved with Dynamo history
- Get up to speed quickly using the supplied library of sample scripts
- Dynamo is included with Alias [Concept, Surface and AutoStudio only] and can be launched within the application
Version 2.15.2
FORMIT
Dynamo for FormIt combines computational design power with an easy-to-use solid modeling environment for a whole new breed of conceptual design.
- Send Dynamo geometry into FormIt to use with your standard workflows
- Easily place Dynamo objects in FormIt to create complex or rule-driven geometry with the click of a button
- Quickly flex graph parameters and update design options without seeing the graph or leaving FormIt
- Edit placed Dynamo graphs and see changes in both Dynamo and FormIt in realtime
Version 2.13.1
ADVANCE STEEL
Advance Steel adds in the computational design power of Dynamo to quickly generate complex structure using native Advance Steel beams and plates to greatly improve modelling productivity.
