Windows 11 has been announced with many new features, such asSnap Layout, redesigned widgets, new Startup sound, etc. If you often use theDesktopoption, you would be glad to know that now you can set different wallpaper on different desktops on Windows 11. Meaning, if you have created two desktops [e.g., one for work and one for gaming], and you want to set two different wallpapers on both displays, you can do that. Here is how you can set things up on Windows 11.

The Desktop feature is not new, but the new customization feature has revamped it for many people. At times, you might want to create two or three desktops for different purposes, i.e., gaming, work, movies, etc. By default, Windows 11 displays the original wallpaper as the desktop background across all displays. However, if you want, you can change the wallpaper on a particular desktop and set it to something you like.

As of now, it is possible to set different pictures as the desktop background. However, you cannot set an image on one desktop and solid color or slideshow on another desktop.

In Windows 10, it isSet for monitor 1/2/3. But, in Windows 11, it is calledSet for desktop. As of now, there is no option on Windows 11 to set different wallpapers on a dual monitor setup.
