High-quality hinoki materials + paulownia. The comfort of a smash and the drive that the [Singapore] of the fourth place Athens Olympics chose. The repulsion elasticity increases in racket oneself by putting hardness of core paulownia materials in carbon fiber among the sticktoitiveness of the hinoki, and power is born.

Penhold Chinese Style: Blade is light, hard and fast. Excel at counter-blocking and counter-looping. Produce an enormous amount of speed while power-smash and flat drives. It must be used with a fast offensive rubber [in my case a 1.9 SpinArt]. Will suit perfectly for an all offensive player that only plays close to the table and attacks all the balls. The blade is very forgiving when you don't hit the ball perfectly due to the enlarged "sweet-spot" produced by the carbon layers. This blade give an outstanding "control" of the strokes you choose to play, but excel when blocking and counter-blocking. I upgraded from Butterfly Chinese AL due only to the speed of the blade, both have the same specs and characteristics, and almost the "same feel" but the Carbon is fastest than Arylate fibers. Paired with SpinArt or Tenergy will convert this blade in a perfect weapon for an "all offensive" close-to-the-table player". TSP is well know for the quality of their blades, [not their rubbers] and this Hino-Power blade is top notch craftsmanship, even the sanded down edges of the penhold style [AL made my finger bleed while trying it out]. I did use a Balsa blade for million years, and I try many others wood blades but I always came back to my old balsa, not this time, with this new blade [using it for 2 month now] I have the control a balsa blade produce and the speed of the cedar-carbon combination.

Relatively fast and stiff racket. The carbon layer provides stiffness, which is balanced by the hinoki top layer. Perhaps its controllability is a bit of a weak point. It has a good handle, beautifully crafted wood.

More powerful and faster than Timo Boll ALC yet still has good control surprisingly!. Very spinny during loopings. This blade is good for short game too. This is my first blade with Hinoki, and I like it. Very little vibration. This is also a very powerful Blade for medium to far from table playing. You can hit from more 7 feet away and the ball will cause severe problems to the opponents thanks to the 2 layers of Carbon. The Carbons are activated only when you hit it hard. For short game, the softer Hinoki really shines here. You dont have to struggle to push the ball no matter what the opponent does to you cause the Hinoki is able to absorb a lot of the spins. I think TSP really nailed it with this amazing Blade. It doesnt matter if you buy the CPEN or Handshake model cos both are equally good. I am surprised this blade didnt get the recognition it deserves. For me this blade is on par with Timo Boll ALC in terms of quality performance but at at lower price. If you are thinking of buying this blade, go for it!

Very unique blade. Very fast. Thanks to the thick hinoki outer layer the blade is not stiff like other carbon blades and with touch. This blade is definitely not for a beginner due to it high speed.
