St ives oatmeal scrub mask review năm 2024

If you like Queen Helene Cocoa Butter Natural Facial Scrub you might be interested in trying St Ives Oatmeal Scrub and Mask which is launching in drugstores now along with the new St Ives Pink Lemon & Mandarin Orange Scrub for the Spring season!

Take a look!

I purchased St Ives Oatmeal Scrub and Mask earlier this month at Soap.com but it has since become available at Drugstore.com and my best friend recently told me he picked it up at Harmons.

This is a gentle scrub according to St Ives as they have a little exfoliation meter on the back of their products now which displays how gentle, moderate, or deep a scrub the formula is. I can understand the gentle factor as it has quite a refined formula with very small granulates for scrubbing away dead skin. It quite reminds me of Queen Helene’s Cocoa Butter Natural Facial Scrub and even the fresh cocoa butter-like scent smells similar.

You can use this as a mask to soften skin or as a gentle way to exfoliate skin. Personally the mask thing puzzles me as it doesn’t really soften my skin much just sitting around “wearing” it for several minutes. The formula is very creamy and rich but unfortunately like many St Ives products I end up feeling very tight and dry after using it. They do say it can be used 3 to 4 times a week but I tend to use St Ives Facial Scrubs perhaps once every two weeks or even in some cases once a month when I wanna just scrub away all my flaky, dry areas.

Although meant for all skin types I think it’ll work best for oily or combo skin and might just be a bit much for those with drier skin. Or at least that how I felt…!

If you love St Ives Facial Scrubs I’m sure you’ll be quite excited to see two new ones at drugstores this Spring.

St Ives have been around forever! The apricot scrub was one I used regularly in my younger days. I've used this one many times now, I like that the exfolliant is walnut shell powder!

It can be used 2 ways, a mask and a scrub. I prefer to use it as a scrub. I like the consistency, thick and creamy with a nice fresh scent.

I find it is not harsh at all and gives just the right amount of scrubbiness! I make sure I wet my face first then squeeze out a small amount and massage all over. It washes off well and you are left with smooth, soft skin!

I have dry skin and I don't feel like this makes it any worse but of course I always follow up with a good moisturiser. I think this scrub is great and affordable and I recommend it for all skin types.

I don't see how this could be a mask. But the scrub part is fine. I would not repurchase because it feels slightly slimy....

Is St Ives oatmeal scrub good for face?

I use it about 3 times a week and it leaves my face ultra smooth and super clean. I work it into my lips too, and it really polishes off the dry skin and makes my lips smooth too, I would not say this is moisturizing, but I think it allows your moisturizer to work better. I think it would work well for all skin types.

How do you use St Ives oatmeal mask?

Directions: Dispense product onto fingertips and massage over damp skin. Scrub: Spread in small circular motions then rinse off and glow! Mask: Leave on for 5-7 minutes, then gently massage and rinse off. For best results, use 3-4 times a week.

What does oatmeal mask do to your face?

It moisturizes, protects, exfoliates, and cleanses your skin. Oatmeal also helps boost collagen production, improves your skin complexion, and reduces skin inflammation. You can use it in your bath, use it to make a paste for a face mask, or use it as a gentle cleanser.

Is oatmeal face scrub good?

Oatmeal cleanses away dead skin cells to reveal smooth and vibrant skin. All the while, oatmeal delivers antioxidants and minerals to tired or sun damaged skin. As a natural ingredient, it won't dry like harsh chemical peels. If your skin needs a refresh, but you don't want to over dry it, try an oatmeal face scrub.
