Vector Solutions’ first Product Brand, RedVector, is founded in Tampa, FL. RedVector offers accredited online continuing education to contractors, engineers, and architects.

2000

March 11, 2000

Course Library Grows

RedVector launches its first two courses, Project Management and CPM Scheduling, for contractors licensed in Florida.

2005

Industry Recognition Begins

Vector receives its first “Best Places to Work” award from the Tampa Bay Business Journal for consistently creating a positive work environment that attracts and retains employees.

The company goes on to receive similar honors nearly annually from leading publications including the Tampa Bay Times, Florida Trend Magazine, and the Tampa Bay Business Journal.

Vector receives OSHA 10 Construction approval, becoming one of a handful of online providers cleared to issue the outreach training program card.

Target Solutions Joins Vector

Vector acquires TargetSolutions under its Public Sector Business Unit, expanding its capabilities to the public safety industry with a focus on fire and EMS services.

We Expand into the Education Industry

    • Vector expands into the Education industry by acquiring Scenario Learning. This acquisition brings in the SafeSchools and SafeColleges suite of safety and compliance programs for K-12 and Higher Education markets.
    • Vector strengthens its Education product portfolio with the acquisition of TeachPoint, whose customizable easy-to-use cloud-based software solutions efficiently and effectively manage the teacher evaluation process.
    • Vector picks up four prestigious Brandon Hall Group Awards in Learning & Technology. The company collects another three in 2018.

    • Vector’s acquisition of Convergence Training adds 3D modeling into their content creation capabilities and is the first of many big milestones for the company in 2018.
    • Vector expands into new territory with the addition of Casino Essentials, the leading eLearning solution provider of anti-money laundering to protect against financial crime.
    • The acquisition of CrewSense adds highly sought-after shift scheduling and workforce management capability to the Vector product portfolio.

  • Vector acquires Halligan, the innovative developers of a leading mobile application for public safety agencies that streamlines routine maintenance inspections of trucks, tools, medical supplies, drugs, and other items logged in inventory records.
  • Vector expands EHS capabilities with the acquisition of IndustrySafe, a leading safety management software provider that helps organizations record, track and trend safety data.
  • The Vector Cares Program is launched to focus on areas where Vector can do the most good by combining the technology and capabilities of our online courses and learning platforms alongside our service to our communities.
  • Along with eLearning content provider, Harbinger Interactive Learning, Vector earns a Silver Brandon Hall Group Award in the Best Advance in Learning Technology Implementation category for joint submission, Macrolearning to Microlearning: A Technology-Driven Transformation.

    • Vector quickly launches its complimentary Coronavirus Resource Center in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic. As part of the company’s Vector Cares Program, the resource center provides free training to first responders and the general public about how to stay safe and healthy during the pandemic.
    • Vector acquires LiveSafe, a leading mobile risk intelligence solution for safety and security incident prevention, response, and communication. The addition of LiveSafe gives customers the opportunity to access a more holistic ecosystem of tools – including LiveSafe’s popular WorkSafe COVID-19 tracking app – to prevent incidents, achieve better outcomes and safeguard lives.
    • In 20 years, Vector Solutions has grown from a small team in Tampa to more than 500 employees across the nation. Vector does an amazing job of educating its new workers during the onboarding process. I have never had a job that has so clearly stated what they want and need from employees.
