OGX Extra Volume + Biotin & Collagen Extra Strength Shampoo is a shampoo that delivers extra volume and shine. It has ​​an extra powerful blend with an extra dose of volume to help to infuse nutrients into every strand for voluminous, fuller looking hair. Vitamin B7 biotin strengthens and maintains hair growth, while collagen provides strength and structure to encourage thicker looking hair. Bamboo fibre extract is also dense in silica which is known to strengthen bones, nails and hair. Hydrolysed wheat protein improves moisture retention while adding volume.

Love it

I’ve been using this range for a long time and I decided to try this OGX Extra Volume + Biotin & Collagen Extra Strength Shampoo with the conditioner because it was on special and boy it didn’t disappoint. After just one wash my hair was smoother and healthier looking. It was so soft to touch. My hair is usually super dry and brittle. But after continuing to use this OGX Extra Volume + Biotin & Collagen Extra Strength Shampoo and conditioner I’m so glad I bought this. I highly recommend this. I got my sister using this as well and we both love this.

A good all rounder - even on oily prone hair.

I love this brand and have used others in the range but I especially liked this one. I have oily, fine hair with blonde highlights so I usually look for a specialist colour or specialist oily shampoo but I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I got 3 days between washes which is excellent for me and I definitely felt my hair looked thicker and fuller after a couple of weeks. I also felt that a little went a long way. I didn’t notice the scent too much so I don’t think it’s overpowering. I would recommend this for most hair types.

Great product

Not for my hair

Firstly, I big thank you to the Beauty Crew team for giving me the opportunity to trial these products. I have fine hair cut into a short bob with a fringe. It's naturally curly but I use a smoothing treatment every 3 months that makes it almost straight. Using products that help smooth it and give it movement is important to me. This shampoo had a thick consistency in my hand and I felt like I needed to mix some water with it to be able to spread it through my hair. It took a while to rinse all the bubbles out and left my hair feeling dry after rincing it out. I didn't like the feeling of it but once the conditioner went in it it started to feel a little better. After letting my hair dry, it felt puffy with no movement and lots of volume on the ends that gave me a triangle look. I don't think this is the right shampoo for me. I prefer something that rinses out easily and doesn't make my hair feel rough. It didn't even feel smooth either. This just doesn't suit my hair type unfortunately.

Incredible

The OGX extra volume + Biotin and collagen extra strength shampoo really surprised me as I haven't had the best of luck with this brand in the past but I found this Shampoo to be completely different from the other ones that I have tried. This shampoo added volume to my hair and also made my hair look and feel incredibly healthy. I found this product did an amazing job and really cleaning my hair. I struggle to find decent hair products that don't leave me itchy and this product didn't leave me itchy at all. The shampoo lathered up really nicely and has a really nice scent. I have been using this product for a couple weeks now and I think it is safe to say that I have found my new favourite shampoo.

Love this shampoo!

I really enjoyed using this product. The shampoo exceeded my high expectations, which I had from previously using the brand - however I have not used this particular version before. I have straight, thin, and flat hair but this product did such a good job of cleaning my hair. The shampoo was great and I only needed a small amount of product to clean my hair. The product definitely added volume to my hair and my hair feels less likely to break and way stronger! I usually have an issue of shedding so much hair when I wash it but this product really made me feel like I was losing less hair which was so nice!

Smells like summer

This shampoo has a lovely sweet coconut smell that just makes you feel like it’s summer. You don’t need much shampoo for it to foam nicely and feel like you’re getting a good clean. The shampoo leaves your hair feeling very clean as well and quite soft and shiny. At this price point I’m not sure how likely I would be to purchase again, however, I would say it’s a nice shampoo to use and would recommend it so someone looking for a shampoo that offers the benefits this one does. I’m not sure that I notices the hair health benefits it claims to provide, although, I did notice a significant shine and softness to my hair

Soooo Good

I was really excited to get my OGX Extra Volume + Biotin & Collagen extra strength shampoo and conditioner, I have very fine coloured hair, first the scent is lovely and a small amount goes a long way it foams up nicely, cleans really well with no residue after the 4 weeks I did notice my hair appeared thicker and stronger it also felt well hydrated and not so flyaway it also didn't effect my hair colour definitely will keep using and recomend to others especially my mum who also has really fine hair

Great Shampoo, Reduces hairfall too.

I have been trailing a lot of shampoo lately. I think my search has come to an end now. I have thin hairs and have been facing some hairfall lately. It is very stressfull as a woman to have hairfall. This OGX shampoo has helped me reduce the hairfall. The results might not show at the first few washes but then eventually you will start noticing the difference. I could see my hairs become bouncier and fuller of volume. I couldn't be happier. A little on the pricey side but I will buy again. I cannot recommend this shampoo enough. Great buy!

Nourishing sulfate free shampoo that adds volume

The Biotin & Collagen extra volume shampoo comes in nice packaging with a handy squeeze top applicator. It smells nice and has a thick consistency. I found that it gave my hair quite a decent amount of volume without any of the extra weight that I quite often get from nourishing shampoos. It left my hair feeling cleansed and light and ready to style. I love that this shampoo is sulfate free and has added bamboo extract and hydrolysed wheat protein which makes it colour safe for my blonde treated hair. The only downside for me is that it appears to not be silicone free, maybe something they will do in the future! Otherwise would definitely recommend this to my friends.

Sophisticated Shampoo

OGX Extra Volume + Biotin & Collagen Extra Strength Shampoo is a beautiful, clean, sleek and sophisticated product. It has strengthened my hair, whilst washing it every 3 days. I have noticed a difference in quiker growth in just 2 weeks of my hair colour appointment. It is obvious with the ingredients of biotin and collagen, i found it has nourished and refreshed the scalp and hair folices, giving you a luxurious clean feel and love for the OGX Extra Volume + Biotin & Collagen Extra Strength Shampoo. The scent is absolutely divine and I wish there was a product to keep your hair smelling like this days after. In love.

I love this shampoo! It’s AMAZING!! For the past couple of months, I've been experiencing hair thinning and loss due to menopause and stress. I have tried so many different products to make my hair look thicker. This product did the trick!! I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and I've noticed a huge improvement in my hair, it no longer looks like its flat, I have the volume back and it is so much fuller and healthier looking! I will definitely buy this shampoo again I will definitely recommend this shampoo to anyone who needs extra volume.

Lovely Scent Leaving Smooth and Shiny

Im quite familiar with the OGX brand and have bought a number of their products over the years. I was very excited to have been selected to trial this I bleach and colour my hair regularly and have noticed recently I am getting a little more breakage and fallout which was a bit concerning I tried the OGX Extra Volume + Biotin & Collagen Extra Strength Shampoo as soon as I recieved it. I did find I have to use a little more than I usually do to get it to foam. The scent is wonderful like marshmallows too! Although it left my hair very shiny and a little smoother than usual I havent found a dramatic difference as yet. I am only using every second wash as I need to alternate with my colour protect regime. Will continue to try this and hopefully will assist with reducing my breakages

Must Buy

I'm not normally a fan of scented shampoos/conditioners but this one I really enjoyed the smell of. I could subtly smell it on my hair throughout the day, it's quite pleasant. The shampoo itself is very creamy and bubbles up nicely after a second shampoo. Is easy to use. I was amazed to find that my hair did have more volume, even after the very first time using it. My hair feels healthier and I assume stronger as I didn't loose as much hair as I normally do . I used this in conjunction with the conditioner and would definitely recommend to anyone and will make sure to get more!

Lathered well and beautiful scent

I was asked to try the OGX extra volume + Biotin and collagen extra strength shampoo and the conditioner . I was instantly excited as I have seen the brand of j many supermarket shelves and had heard of others using and enjoying the product. The first thing I noticed was the the vibrant colour of the bottles , they were inviting and looked nice on my shower shelf. The best thing was the smell , the scent filled the bathroom and then remained on my hair for days after . I have thin, dry , blonde hair and usually use salon shampoos and conditioners . i was nervous that this would dry out my hair but I was pleasantly surprised . The shampoo lathered my washed Out easily . The conditioner went on smoothly and left my hair, feeling smooth and tangle free. My son, who has thick short hair also used his product, and his hair has never looked better! I will definitely be using this again and look forward to trying their other range..

Would not recommend

I recieved this product to test put as a review crew member. I have fine, straight, coloured hair. I've been using the product for around 3 weeks now. The packaging of the product is beautiful, but I did not notice any difference in my hair using this product. The product claims to give extra volume and extra strength. I have been following up the shampoo with the conditioner of the same kind. I have not noticed anything different. My hair looks and feels the same as it always has been. I did not enjoy the smell of the product as well. I found it quite chemical like and the smell doesn't last on the hair at all.. Overall not a good product and I would not recommend.

Excellent shampoo for adding volume

I have used OGX brand products in the past and was looking forward to trying this variety of shampoo to see if it would add volume to my hair. My hair is course and grey and I colour it regularly, which makes it quite dry. I'm always on the lookout for natural products that add moisture and give my hair added volume. I was very pleased with the results I received with this OGX Extra Volume + Biotin & Collagen. I especially liked the amount of lather with only a small amount of shampoo and the smell was really pleasant too. My hair felt hydrated and sat really well after I styled it. I would recommend this shampoo to anyone who is after a volumising shampoo that smells great and leaves your hair feeling hydrated and squeaky clean!

Great for volume

I was so excited to receive this shampoo along with the conditioner as part of the review team. I am always on the lookout for anything to give my fine hair more volume and strength and this shampoo does that. First of all, I love the smell of the shampoo it’s gorgeous – I don’t know what ingredient gives it the lovely smell but its great! I love that you can still smell the scent in your hair after washing & drying. I feel it gives me a nice healthy boost and leaves my hair feeling refreshed. The shampoo is clear & a little gluggy kind of like gel- not your typical shampoo texture but that didn’t bother me. I find for my shoulder-length hair I need about the size of a 50cent piece to lather well enough & wash all my hair. Your hair needs to be quite wet for it to lather well but once it’s lathered and you’re washing it you can already feel the thickness as you are washing.. In conjunction with the conditioner, this works great to give you hair volume & strength. Will definitely buy.

Fresh and healthy

I was lucky enough to be sent this product to trial. I used this product every second morning for about three weeks. Initially I was a bit unsure about it as my hands felt a bit dry after using it, however it worked wonders on my hair. I have coloured hair, so I am conscious of what shampoo I use as I dont want it to strip my hair. I am happy to say that after using it every second day did not harm my hair. After using it I have found my hair looks and feels shiny and healthly, not sure about adding volume, but it sure loooks great. That is why I am not awarding this product five stars. This product smeels quite nice too, which is an added bonus.

Great volume

I have been using the OGX Extra Volume + Biotin & Collagen Extra Strength Shampoo for several weeks now, it’s not the first time I’ve tried this brand as I’ve used the OGX range before and have always liked their products. Firstly the packaging is nice, compact and easy to dispense. My hair is quite long and thick, roots can be a little oily while the ends can be a little dry. The shampoo smells nice, Iathers well and hair feels nice and clean afterwards. After blow drying the hair doesn’t feel flat, has good volume. Would purchase this in future.
