Lỗi timecode khi chuyển project từ premiere sang davinci resolve
I know there is no perfect way to transfer my Premiere projects over to DaVinci. But before I cancel the Adobe subscription I want to put myself in the best position possible *IF* I should have to go back and reedit a video that I originally created in Premiere. So what steps should I do for each project? Here's the current list:
What else might I need to export/do? ----- Ian M Butterfield Photographer My videos: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdbQ5bUBJw4YhcIemAn3VFg www.ians-studio.co.uk Sat Jun 08, 2019 1:06 pm A separate reference movie (APR LTor DNx 36) w/ source name, source timecode and record timecode overlays/burn in. PPro XMLs do not always get translated properly. Sat Jun 08, 2019 2:44 pm My experience transfering a PP project into Resolve was sufficiently poor that I went with a different approach. Only new projects for Resolve. I'd pay the single month fee of $30 if I ever needed to reopen a PP project. Last edited by Jim Simon on Sun Jun 09, 2019 2:00 am, edited 1 time in total. My Biases: You NEED training. Sat Jun 08, 2019 3:09 pm I'm making the same transition. PP xml to Dvainci works well but there's always at least one or two gotchas, and sometimes its something you don't realise until late into the project like 3 or 4 clips have just been mistaken for another, or speed/size changes are slightly off. I still use PP for music videos, I rely heavily on a select few plugins, but everything else now is Davinci. Sat Jun 08, 2019 3:16 pm @ Jill There are several options under Project Preferences / General Options / Conform Options that when experimented with, can yield better results prior to XML import. It’s trial and error and is based on the original media metadata and PPro setup. Look for details in the manual, if you haven’t already. MixingLight.com and Lowepost.com have both provided very good "Conforming" tutorials with Resolve, and they particularly apply for going from Premiere to Resolve. Some things particularly composites and speed ramps won't work, but they won't work with any platform, meaning it's not a Resolve-specific problem. You can break those down one at a time and fix them, either by hand or by treating each shot as a self-contained render, so there are always workarounds. All the clips have time code embedded in them. The footage is shot with HPX (.mxf), GH4 (mp4), and Canon (.mov) cameras. The premier pro exported XML file contains all the necessary information. The field Reel is populated. Some clips have similar timecode. None of the clips start from zero. |
