I found this product one day whilst I was shopping in Sydney. Inside the Queen Elizabeth building and several layers under neath the ground of the building are a few little Asian Beauty stores including brand stores such as Innisfree which I like to frequent. The staff have heaps of knowledge and won’t just push random product onto you. You are welcome to sample and try things out which is something I find helpful as well. I wanted to look for a moisturising product that wasn’t a moisturiser per say. Sometimes I have to wash my face during the day (such as after a work out etc) and I don’t want to put a full round of thick products on. I came across the Innisfree Jeju Cherry Blossom Jelly Cream which piqued my interest as it was a moisturiser but not a thick cream. Exactly what I wanted!

Claims This is a gel cream that delivers rich moisture to dry, dull skin for a hydrated and rested look. Thoughts I was very intrigued by the texture of this jelly cream. I don’t see it as a cream at all and more of a jelly/gel on it’s own. It comes in a small plastic tub with a screw on lid with no product seal. At the moment, I have used this cream for about three months and have been finding is helpful as a gentle moisturiser. Personally I don’t find it as strong as some moisturisers I know but after a workout face wash, it’s pretty much perfect. The gel consistency holds pretty firm with a slight wobble but it melts into the skin super quick and easily. For me, I love the fact that there is no sticky film as this really bothers me with some skincare. The jelly is completely clear and cold to the touch. It is delightful and refreshing on the skin and I have started placing it in the fridge before use as it really refreshes the skin. If you have a beauty fridge (oh what a dream that would be), this is a product you should have inside. After a month or so I did notice some brightening to my acne scars and on my cheeks which made me very happy. With my very dry skin, I like to apply moisturiser straight away after cleansing my skin. This is perfect for during the day use and it helps my skin calm down and not feel tight from dryness. I sometimes use this under a heavier moisturiser at night depending on how dry my skin gets. The gel does have a sweet scent that can linger for a few minutes. It’s quite floral and I’m guessing it resembles cherry blossoms in someway. I’m not a huge fan of sticking my finger into a product jar on the daily so I use a spatula to scoop out product. I’m a big fan of pump bottles just because of hygiene but I suppose I can reuse this jar after I finish the product itself (I use them sometimes to carry jewellery when travelling). I don’t think I will be repurchasing this product when it runs out. It was good but not the product I needed for my particular skin needs. If your skin doesn’t get as dry as mine, this would be ideal especially in summer when your skin isn’t dried out by cold air.
