I quite like this toner. I am already on my 5th or 6th bottle of it and I find it leaves my skin pleasantly plump and it doesn't strip it of moisture (like some other toners do). It isn't a hydrating miracle in a bottle (that's what serums are for), but for a toner, I find it pretty nice, for my oily dehydrated skin at least. It's a plus that it is also budget friendly.

makes my skin soooo dehydrated. It doesn't benefit my skin in any way. There is alcohol in it, not sure tho if it's the good or bad kind of alcohol. All in all, this product has not been the best for my skin. This is all i have to say but this site is acting like my english teacher and demanding i write 250 characters. You can stop reading already my review is the product = dehydration. I dont know how this wants me to say something so simple in 250 words. OMG i'm tired of writing come on it's just a fricking review please, and it's even highlighting grammar mistakes in red T_T , this is stricter than my teacher please let me go. also, "250" is highlighted in red, basically I should write two hundred and fifty, "english" is also in red, the E should be capitalised, and "capitalised" is also red because british spelling is apparently wrong, one hundred sixty six words, i still didn't hit the two hundred fifty bench mark. Is this real? I just signed up for this thing and now i'll immediately delete my account. I just wanted to tell people who have skin like mine to not bother with this product why am i here having to write an essay. good god i'm almost there, two hundred thirty five, so close. all of my "i"s are in red too because although this is an online review it should be written formally. 257 BYE

It’s been a while since I did skincare related post, so why not do one today. I’ve been testing some skincare by Yves Rocher for the past 30 days or so. Yves Rocher is a French brand that sells their products worldwide. They have everything from makeup to bodycare to skincare, and more in between. I was gifted some of their Hydra Vegetal skincare product that targets Normal to Combination skin, and focuses on intensively moisturizing the skin. I’ll be reviewing a facial scrub, a toner and a moisture mask. Some of the key ingredients in this line are blue agave sap and botanical maple. This brand is cruelty free, and their products are plant based. Their brand has won multiple awards, and the best thing is they’re affordable. Hydra Vegetal Refreshing Radiance Scrub:

The scrub comes in a see through plastic tube, which is nice, so I can see how much product I have left. The tube contains 75 ml./2.5 fl. Oz. This scrub smells so lovely. It has a refreshing scent that smells amazing. It’s kind of in between a face wash and a facial scrub. I can describe it has a face gel with exfoliating particles in it. So it actually feel like it cleanses you skin, while it exfoliates. At first when I looked at it I thought there was a lack of scrubbing particles, but once I started massaging it into my skin, it did a nice job exfoliating. My face felt smoother, and not tight at all. Some scrubs can dry out my skin a little, but this was even a tad bit moisturizing. I wasn’t expecting to like this as much as I did.

Hydra Vegetal Hydrating Toner:

This toner comes in a plastic, see through bottle with a flip cap and contains 200 ml/6.7 fl. Oz. The toner has a very similar scent to radiance scrub. Very fresh and similar to cucumbers. This feels very cooling to use, and freshens up my skin. If do have any leftover dirt or makeup residues it does take it right away without being harsh. It’s has a water like texture, and sinks into my skin quickly. I can also swipe this over my eyes lightly without experiencing a burning sensation, that I’ve had with other toners in the past. Western toners are rarely ground breaking to me, this wasn’t either. But it did live up its claims, and it worked nicely for me.

Hydra Vegetal Intense Hydrating Mask:

This mask comes in this white tube as you can see, and it has a screw on/off cap. The cap is okay but it would be easier if it was one of those flip caps. But other than that, I don’t mind the packaging being so simple, and love the smaller size so it’s travel friendly. The tube contains 75 ml/2.5 fl. Oz. The texture is quite light, and feels like a gel moisturizer. It’s applies easily, and has a cooling feeling. The description says to leave it on for 5-10 minutes, but I always leave it on longer without having any problems. Some days I wash it off, other days I just remove it with cotton pad soaked in toner and lastly I’ve been using it as a sleeping mask. It did make my skin feel soft, and slightly more moisturized. This works perfectly for us with oily skin as it’s not heavy at all. But if you do have dry skin this won’t be heavy enough. As a hydrating mask I did like it, but it’s not that intense as I was excepting by the name of this product.

This line definitely suits my skintype (Oily & Acneprone). Usually when products are marked as suitable for combo skin they can be drying on the skin. This line adds moisture back into my skin, without feeling suffocating or too much. I’ve been enjoying testing these out, and they been working well with the rest of my skincare products.
